Babel and the UK Linguistics Olympiad
Babel is pleased to be working alongside the UK Linguistics Olympiad, which runs language puzzle competitions for school and college pupils of all ages. If you are a teacher, lecturer or simply a language enthusiast who would like to get involved or run a Linguistics Olympiad competition in your school or college, visit the UKLO website.
We have run a number of UKLO puzzles in Babel's Language Games section, including puzzles on the Austronesian language of Abma and Nahuatl, a language of the Aztec empire. UKLO puzzles also feature in the first issue of Lingo, our sister magazine for young readers.
